Teatr Groteska is always worth a visit, because Groteska is something you never grow out of. Their repertoire includes The Master and Margarita and fairy tales for kids. The place is generally very child-friendly. Groteska also includes a dragon's parade, a Recycling festival and "Afryka Kazika" - talks for children based on the book of the same name. They are the colorful stories of Kazik, i.e. Kazimierz Nowak, who cycled across Africa. Groteska cooperates with the www.pracującyrodzice.pl (working parents) project. Groteska is disabled friendly, and although the building is not adapted to the needs of the wheelchair users, as the building is not owned by Groteska, the staff make up for it by lifting the wheelchairs up to the Fourth floor! Groteska also runs a rehabilitation programme in conjunction with a detention centre. Last but not least, Groteska runs rather surprising city games for the residents of Kraków. And we also appreciate that the lightbulbs used in Groteska are energy-efficient and their computers are second-hand.
